Length:

The Prodigy 3 Koga is a fusion of Japanese artistry and straightforward athleticism. Acclaimed artist Kengo Kimura returns to Faction with artwork inspired by the mystical spirits and snow-laden mountains of Niigata. Celebrating one of Japan’s standout freeskiing talents, Koga Hoshino, Kengo was inspired by Koga's movements, akin to a “kite with a cut string”. This design embraces the ideas of ma (intervals) and yohaku (empty space) that exist within Koga's riding.

It’s built on the foundation of Faction's acclaimed Prodigy 3, a favorite among all-mountain riders and freeskiers. Thread tight tree lines and launch natural features with its balanced 106mm waist, that carves the frontside with accuracy while providing enough float for powder days in the backside. In the same way Koga turns urban backyards, snow-laden forests and natural features into his space to impress, the Prodigy 3 adapts to your terrain of choice.

You'll love this ski if...

  • You want a playful ski for all conditions, including powder
  • You want a ski that carves hard, but also easily pivots and smears
  • You love to butter and occasionally ski or land backwards
  • You are always on the look-out for the little pocket of pow that didnt get skied
