Agent Series

It is designed for skiers who want a lightweight ski for touring and backcountry use, but still want exceptional downhill performance to enjoy the way back down. It keeps weight low for uphill travel, long days, and easier kick turns, but it doesn’t feel like a pure uphill-only ski. Compared with La Machine, Agent is a bit more balanced and versatile, with a more planted feel in mixed snow and firmer conditions.

Choose your Agent based on where and how you ski most often

Agent 1 (86 mm): built for long climbs, spring missions and firmer snow. The lightest and quickest ski in the Series, ideal for skiers who prioritize uphill efficiency and precise handling.

Agent 2 (96 mm): the do-it-all touring ski. Offering the best balance of climbing efficiency and downhill confidence, it's the ideal one-ski quiver for most backcountry skiers.

Agent 3 (106 mm): a freeride-focused touring ski. Choose it if you spend more time chasing soft snow, bigger terrain, and more consequential descents, but still want something light enough to tour hard on.

Agent 4 (116 mm): the true deep-pow touring tool. The widest Agent delivers effortless float and confidence when powder is the whole objective.

No. While the Agent Series is optimized for touring, many skiers use them for a mix of backcountry missions, lift-accessed freeride skiing or a lighter piste ski option. Their lightweight construction makes them ideal for long days in the mountains, while their progressive shape delivers dependable performance when skiing downhill.

You can physically mount telemark bindings on Agent skis, even though Agent isn’t designed around telemark specifically.

Agent skis are built as touring skis, and our standard guidance for them is touring/tech or hybrid bindings. If you want to run telemark, it is worth knowing that the ski has a reinforced Titanal binding plate in the mount zone, so there’s a strong mounting area. We’d recommend having a certified ski tech look at your exact tele binding and boot setup before drilling, since tele setups can vary a lot. 

While both are built to escape the crowds, they are designed for two different styles of backcountry riding:

The Agent Series: Directional and versatile. Designed with a powerful, freeride-oriented shape, these skis are engineered with a lightweight Karuba wood core and a carbon weave. They feature a traditional flat-tail design that makes them stable, predictable, and highly reliable on technical ascents, wind-scraped ridges, and variable snow.

The La Machine Series: Ultralight and surfy. Our lightest, carbon-loaded touring family. They feature an extended, highly-rockered shape with a surfy, progressive design. Choose La Machine if you are looking to maximize float in deep powder while keeping weight to an absolute minimum on grueling uphill climbs.
