From a few skis in a run of 190 pairs back then, today our skis, jackets and films have won over 100 awards and more importantly we are shipping 24,000 skis in 2017-18 for riders in 35 countries.

SKI AND APPAREL SALES REP – MIDWEST, USA

With sales in over 20 countries and consistent 100% year-on-year growth, award winning Faction Skis and Apparel is looking for experienced independent sales representatives with established relationships in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Upper Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.

Faction’s seven-digit marketing budget increasingly drives consumer demand and an expansive trade marketing and incentive program accelerates channel sales. The combination of skis with progressive outerwear and accessory lines adds revenue potential to same-store and additional store sales.

Through a focus on innovative design and material research Faction has created an award-winning collection of skis and outerwear. A colab with Candide Thovex, endorsements from Olympic athletes and a disruptive approach to marketing make Faction one of the fastest growing brands in the market.

As the face of Faction it is paramount that you have prior experience being an independent sales representative or distributor, ideally having grown a brand in your region.

Primary responsibilities:
  • Research, identify and capture new accounts

EUROPE

HEAD OF MARKETING  – VERBIER, SWITZERLAND

The Faction Collective designs, manufactures, engages in dialogue about and sells quality skis and clothing in 35 countries. We manage a portfolio of brands using the strength of our design & manufacturing teams and global sales and communications platforms.  We have grown from our first batch of 190 skis in 2007 to 24,000 excited riders ripping on our handiwork around the world this season.

We seek a strong manager with vision to lead our lean, talented, global marketing team.  Engaging with our fans, who are the reason we exist, is at the heart of this role.

The role reports to the CEO with close interaction and guidance from the Brand & Design and Sales Directors.  

The role is demanding – Faction is a lean company with high expectations; Our team is motivated and our customers and colleagues expect the best. Equally the position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a business that touches our passions and those of our fans.

The role will be based in Verbier, Switzerland where core product and marketing activities are developed.  In an extremely exceptional case splitting time in Shoreditch may be considered.

Requirements

  • A university degree
  • At least ten years experience in marketing
  • Ideal candidates will have brand experience with soul-oriented brands
  • Apparel experience a plus
  • French language skills a plus
  • Strong facility with modern business tools, from digital systems to presentation management and development software to VOIP and other means of productive communications
  • A ‘startup’ mentality – things get done because we make them happen
  • It would be unlikely that a candidate who is not an avid skier would fit the profile

SALES LEADER – SCANDINAVIA

Faction skis, one of the fastest growing ski brands on the market, is seeking a talented sales leader for the Scandinavian market to sell Faction Skis, Roxy Skis and additional apparel and accessory brands.


Primary responsibilities:

  • Establish, develop and maintain sustainable business and customer relationship across the area
  • Maximize sales, establish sales targets and identify sales opportunities
  • Plan, organise and execute on-snow demos, product showings, order meetings, clinics and promotional activities
  • Represent the company brands in a professional manner and with positive attitude towards accounts and consumers
  • Work with the Faction Collective internal marketing and trade team to create activation and engagement with trade and fans
