La Machine 2

€879.00

Longueur:

"Pro: Nice to ski offpiste, freeride & skitouring, playful & easy to ski, light weight, „mini“ (99mm in the middle) is the ideal mix for me to run just one ski most of the time (offpiste/skitouring). Nice color of the surface (orange). Con: I do not need a tail rocker in most of the offpiste snow conditions but sometimes more edge hold from top to bottom (special in steep & hard packed snow sections) design on top is not my favorite (I prefer more colorful skis)."

Nice all around touring skis

"Nice light all around touring skis"

Light underfoot and great for side hits. . . . but

"Light on the up hill, agile and stable in the air on small side hits. Floats well in light powder, although noticeably gets knocked around by chunder. It definitely has an upper speed limit after which chatter and edge hold becomes an issue."

North Bound

"They’re light, been great in 12-16” of powder and climb like a Mountain goat. Taking them to Canada for 7 days in the backcountry."

Garett M. (5/5)

The big mission tool

"For those huge days that otherwise would require a tent overnight. The lighter the kit, the further we all can go and the more skiing we can do. When it’s going to be a 3000m+ day And you won’t see anyone past the front lines. And for a small Ski, it handles the variable backcountry conditions. You know you’re going to run into with that much ground you’re covering. The Machine 2 is honestly like a backcountry season pass to the untraveled and untracked zones."

It goes far and fast for more untracked pow!

"The Machine 2 is perfect for my long wilderness walks deep into the backcountry. It's light it’s easy to access the empty zones with untracked lines. And when I get there, it’s still surfy and fun, especially in deep cold snow! Perfect for the American West and handles the firm well too."

Teague (5/5)

Super light yet sturdy

"I brought this ski with me for a week-long ""Sail to Ski"" expedition in the Arctic Circle, in Norway's Lyngen Alps, and can report that it performed very well in just about every ski condition under the Sun. Super light which I appreciated on some massive uphill days, yet super dependable and playful on the downhill. I have it mounted with a Salomon MTN binding at the recommended Progressive mount point."

Aiming for the win

"Wauw they're so light! I feel like lance Armstrong shooting up mountains!"

Wout (5/5)

Touring brilliance

"They are so versatile whilst skiing for the weight. Love taking these out on some long expeditions."

Martin (5/5)

Good/but only as a second pair of ski

"Perfect for snowy days and riding in Powder you will have a lot of fun and stability but overall very bad for the piste riding down the piste after some powder is not good. Carving is also very hard but for powder and stuff like that the best ski you can get"
