Dancer 4, 179 cm

"Ski does it all well. Nimble, easy to turn. Performed amazing in tight glades. Fantastic in powder. Variable conditions, chauce, bump, hard pack, slab, not an issue. Ripped though effortlessly. Holds edges well on hard pack. Great for touring/side country day. Mounted with shift 13’s A true do all “Swiss army knife” set up. I’m 5’ 11” 180lbs. Pretty aggressive skier."

Very quick for such a big ski

"I have had these skis out about seven days In all types of snow conditions. Everything from about 8 inches of fresh powder to rockhard frozen, to spring mashed potatoes. Skis handle everything very well. What surprises me is how quick they are and how well they handle bumps for Ski that is 116 mm at the waist. I’m very impressed. They are definitely my new go to Ski for most conditions."

Yes, it's that good.

"I freaking love this ski. For reference, some of my past favorites were the original super 7, JJ Aks, and I've got a QST 118 that I love quite a bit as well currently. Ironically, I also have a Dancer (dictator) 1. 0 that I love for Moguls and icy days. Got last year's model on a good deal and I have been absolutely stoked. I mentioned some of my favorites above but I have about six to seven current skis in my quiver. I'm barely touching any of them at this point other than this ski. Granted I am a bigger guy 6'4"" and 260 lbs. Nonetheless, I've been pretty surprised with how well it floats and powder (My deep deep power ski is 202cm and 132 in the waist). I do typically need a pretty dang big ski just cuz of my size for decent float, but this ski has far exceeded my expectations. Equally for groomers as well to be honest! This things absolutely rip. I've never been a one quiver guy. Not even close and I'd never will be. But gosh staying if I could only have one ski this would absolutely be it. It's definitely a ski that you need to ski or it will ski you, but aside from that, this is my favorite ski probably ever. I hate to say it cuz I have so many other skis that I love, but dang. It's a good ski."

Deep snow champions!

"Love these in the deeps! Float and smear beautifully and carve dependably when powder turns into chop or crud. Great for all day, all mountain!"

Skis Great but Nose Delaminating from Factory

"Love the skis! Thank you! However, I did notice that one of the skis seems to be delaminating at the nose of the ski. I noticed it when I removed the skis from the box upon receipt. I took photos but didn’t submit and just started skiing them because, well, it’s ski season. Ha. But they are skiing great. Hope the delam doesn’t propagate."

WHAT?!

"An absolute game-changer for any skier seeking an exhilarating experience on the mountain. Whether I'm charging through groomers or seeking out untouched powder, this ski exceeds all expectations. Its versatility across diverse terrain is just ridiculous."

BOMB!

"This ski is a machine. A race ski made for freeriding. Never felt so secure when flying trough any kind of snow. Also surprisingly good on hard snow."

Can we get a 4x?

"Love the Dictator 3. 0 and newly named Dancer 3. But can we get the Dancer 4 in a 172 or a Dancer 4x in 172. Shortys want fat skis too. Thanks!"

Q&A

I bought the Dancer 4 and gave it to my local shop. They mounted my Binding but nobody knew on which mounting point. Is there any measurement i can take to know if its idk classic, progressive etc. ? Greetings Jakob
Hey Jakob, Thanks for your question, great to hear you got a pair of Dancer 4s. Our recommended mounting points are indicated on the topsheets as classic, progressive, and newschool. You should be able to tell where your bindings are mounted by looking at which of these lines they are centered on. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us directly on our site. A member of the team will be happy to help. Best regards, The Faction Team
