We’ve teamed up with the heritage glove brand Wells Lamont to offer fans a capsule of quality collab products, in the form of a ski-and-glove bundle. Wells Lamont first began manufacturing work gloves in 1907. Faction entered the skiing market in 2006, nearly one century later. Despite the age gap, Faction and Wells Lamont are kindred spirits on snow: we are passionate about high-quality, durable products that enable big adventures, as well as supporting inspiring athletes.

The Faction x Wells Lamont collab features the Prodigy 2.0 Collab Ski and Wells Lamont gloves & mitts. Artwork by Freeride World Tour athlete, Andrew Pollard, draws the capsule together, with a looming mountain peak—a detailed line drawing—featured on the skis’ topsheet. PRODIGY 2.0 COLLAB

With over 110 years in business, Wells Lamont has an unmatched heritage of making high-quality workwear that’s tough as nails. Our collaboration with Wells Lamont was a natural match for the trusty all-mountain twin-tip Prodigy 2.0, which is built with thick, durable edges; a protective tip and tail cap construction; and a scratch-resistant topsheet. The ski color is leather and there is even a leather texture overlaid on the topsheet to pair perfectly with the Wells Lamont gloves and mitts. Featuring original artwork by Freeride World Tour athlete, Andrew Pollard, it’s a ski that emanates pride in The Faction Collective.

Made in Austria with the highest quality and manufacturing standards the ski industry has to offer, the Prodigy 2.0 ski packs all the right ingredients to help you pop, stomp and surf all over the mountain. Its poplar wood core is forgiving yet strong, poppy enough to butter across those slushy springtime rollers, yet stiff underfoot for aggressive carving—meaning the only way to beat your last run is to head back up for another.

With matching colorways to Faction’s Prodigy 2.0 Collab Ski, these gloves and mitts emphasize the Wells Lamont tagline: “Stubborn About Quality.” They are built from HydraHyde® leather which is tanned to be water-resistant and more breathable than standard leather, for high-performance comfort on snow. Wells Lamont’s HydraHyde® tanning process lasts the life of the glove and will not wear off like a water-repellent cream or wax.
