It’s the culmination of decades of freeride and all-mountain expertise, distilled into the brand’s first pure piste ski. Designed for rhythm, control, and flow, the Dancer 79 thrives on the groomed runs of the world’s grand alpine resorts; what we call la piste de danse.

Casablanca Paris brings its own perspective to this canvas. The fashion house known for its luxurious reimagining of après-sport, draws inspiration from the clay courts and terracotta warmth of North Africa, refined through the lens of French tailoring. This collaboration translates their universe into a new environment: snow.

Mustache Flex

The 'Moustache Flex' pattern is ideal for most skiers. It offers stability in front of and behind the binding for solid edge hold, with a smooth, progressive flex in the tips and tails to absorb bumps and snow debris.

Elliptical Sidecut

The Elliptical Sidecut features a longer radius underfoot for quicker, easier pivots, and shorter radius in the tip and tail for effortless turn initiation. This innovative sidecut supports a wide range of turn lengths, angles, and mounting positions, enhancing your skiing versatility and control.

Recycled Materials

We work closely with production partners to eliminate material waste. We mix base and sidewall material scraps back into the raw material used for production, reducing carbon emissions and maintaining the same level of quality & durability.

Full Strength Sidewall

Added protective strips along the core, shield the woodcore, edges, and topsheet from impact and damage.

Anti-Chip Micro-Cap

The Anti-chip Micro Cap protects the ski's tips and tails from wear and tear.

We came together with Casablanca Paris to create something that's completely singular. The Dancer 79 Casablanca unites Faction’s first pure piste ski with Casablanca’s luxurious modern après-sport aesthetic. Inspired by the sunbaked terracotta tones and crisp whites of Casablanca’s universe, this design is at home on this brand-new ski.

The ski from Faction I knew they could build!

"I love my Dancer 1(s) great ski, fun everywhere, but as an "old-dogger" from the '70s I was always looking for something that felt more like my old Salomon Superforce 9-3s. These 79s are quick from edge to edge, have nice "pop" from turn to turn, and arch wonderfully. This helps this 73 year old relive his best days. Now the sad part is this ski season was the worst for snow I've seen in my 55 years of skiing, so to protect these amazing skis I only took them out once. . . everyone please think snow for the coming season! Looking below I see expert or advanced, even 10 years ago I would have said "expert", but with age come some different terrain requirement. So that is why I selected "advanced". . . but I'm always up for a clean zipperline with soft snow."

"Absolutely the most fun i have had carving. If you are an ex racer or just tired of the old gs style skis. These will refresh your love for carving. These are so stable i pushed 105 kph on these no problem. And don’t get me started on the short skidded turns. Turns on a dime. Just perfect. And a real eye catcher too"

Dancer is spot on

"Skiing is supposed to be fun. These skis make low tide conditions as fun as can be. I was looking for a fun ski for ripping groomers, and settled on these after comparing reviews. I'm 6'4", 200lbs, and can't find the speed limit easily on these. Sturdy construction, good edgehold, and lightweight design make these effortless carvers that are worth your dime. Dancer is an apt name. They take effort in the moguls, but they can be fun with good technique (do not get backseat on these). If you're thinking about it, just buy them."

Not going back to traditional on piste

"Great fun, takes some time to get used to, if you come from a pure on piste ski. More for expert skiers than for advanced ones, it requires the right body position to keep full control of your line. Amazing how it holds at high speed despite its light construction which makes it more playful when you want it. Unless you are racing, not going back to Volkl or Salomon… Black Crows and Faction deliver more fun and now great on piste performance."
