Titanal is one of the most sturdy metals out there. Its isotropic quality—meaning it's equally strong in all directions—means that the ski loves being on an edge, blasts through bumps and feels stable even in changeable snow, making it the perfect chassis for your dream freeride ski.

3 - Lightweight Poplar & Fiberglass Core

Poplar is a light-colored, medium-weight, durable softwood that flexes and pops nicely as well as having a whole load of vibration absorption capabilities. Used as the only wood in this core, it allows the ski to pop, butter and stomp like an all-mountain freestyle ski and also have enough torsional stability to grip impressively on the downhill. It's set between two layers of fiberglass for strength, rigidity and durability.

1 - Elliptical Sidecut

Elliptical Sidecut is made up of a longer radius underfoot and shorter radius in the tip and tail of the ski. The long radius underfoot means you can pivot faster and easier, while a shorter radius in the tip and tail result in easier turn initiation. This sidecut allows for a wide variety of turn lengths, angles and mounting positions

2 - Mustache Flex

The "Mustache Flex" offers stability underfoot for solid edge hold, with a smooth, progressive flex in the tips and tails to easily absorb all the different bumps and snow debris the mountain throws at you.

3 - A Progressive Flat-Tail Shape and Profile

Tip and tail rocker + traditional camber, for the perfect blend of high performance edge hold, easy turn initiation, and float in soft snow. This ski combines the stability and drive of a flat tail with carefully tuned rocker that makes pivots and slashes intuitive.

The 26/27 Dancer Series has been completely reimagined to give skiers more choice based on how you like to ski. The biggest update is the introduction of two constructions: Dancer TI and Dancer.

Dancer TI retains its Titanal construction for maximum stability, precision and high-speed performance, while the new Dancer features a lighter, Titanal-free build that's easier to maneuver and more forgiving without sacrificing the signature Dancer feel.

The range has also been refined with updated model offerings, length options and waist widths, making it easier than ever to find the right Dancer for your skiing style and preferred terrain.

Both skis share the same all-mountain DNA, but they're built for different riding styles.

Dancer TI features two sheets of Titanal for maximum stability, precision and confidence at speed. It's the ideal choice for advanced skiers who love carving hard, charging through chopped-up snow and skiing aggressively from first chair to last lap.

Dancer delivers the same confident Dancer TI character in a lighter construction. By removing the Titanal layers, the skis are easier to maneuver, require less energy to ski and feel more playful across changing conditions. They're an excellent choice for skiers who value versatility and all-day comfort.

Choosing the right Dancer comes down to two things; waist width and construction.

First, choose the width that matches your terrain:

79 mm: Frontside carving and firm snow.

89 mm: Versatile all-mountain performance.

99 mm: The all-mountain freeride choice for mixed conditions.

106 mm: Soft snow, powder and freeride terrain.

Then choose your construction:

Dancer TI: Maximum power, precision and stability for aggressive skiing.

Dancer: A lighter, more playful construction that delivers the signature Dancer feel with less effort, ideal for long days on the mountain.

Absolutely. The Dancer Series is built to carve, with powerful edge grip, smooth turn initiation and confidence at speed.

If you spend most of your time on groomers, the Dancer 79 or Dancer 79 TI are the natural choice, depending on your skiing style. For skiers who want to venture further off-piste, the Dancer 89, 99 and 106 TI maintain that same planted feel while adding all-mountain and freeride versatility.

A SYS ski comes as a ready-to-go package with bindings already paired and pre-mounted from the factory. On the Dancer 79 SYS, for example, it comes with Salomon Strive bindings already mounted, which makes it a simple resort-focused setup for people who want to ski right away.
