Earth Day

On the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, we're encouraging The Faction Collective to take #ClimateAction.

On this Earth Day, we face two crises: One is immediate from a pandemic, and the other is slowly building as a disaster for our climate. We can, will, and must solve both challenges.

The world was not prepared for this coronavirus. Leaders ignored hard science and delayed critical actions. We still have time to prepare — in every part of the world — for the climate crisis.

So, how can The Faction Collective take #ClimateAction?

    1. Educate yourself. Follow @earthdaynetwork for 24 hours of action on Earth Day. Every hour, on the hour, they'll share climate facts and effective ways for you to drive change.

    2. Pledge to vote for environmental progress in your next election. (65 countries host major elections in 2020.) Take five minutes today and register to vote.

    3. Volunteer & Take Action. Participate in a cleanup. Join a climate strike. Link up with an organization close to home. Visit earthday.org/earth-day-tips for a list of 50 ways to take #ClimateAction.

    4. Speak Up. Send a message to your government leaders today. Encourage your friends and family to do the same. Be vocal on social media. Share what you're doing, where you're from and what you're fighting for (the mountains, cleaner air in your city, etc.).

We're all in this together. Thanks for being a part of The Faction Collective and for taking #ClimateAction with us.
