ポプラは淡い色で程よい重さと耐久性を持つ柔らか
い木材である。良くたわむため、ポップしやすく、また振動吸収能力を備えている。このコアはポプラのみを使用しているため、ポップやバターはもちろん、ジャンプをストンプすることもできる。また、ダウンヒルでも十分なねじれに対する安定性を備え、雪面を気持ちよくグリップしてくれる。

"I retired my rossignol black ops 98 after years of use and decided to try the faction prodigy 2. Immediately noticed how playful and flexible the skis are. I am now able to butter and slash around with ease. Quick to turn in the trees, fun on side hits and functional in the park."

"Im your average 40+ year old skier that makes it out 6 or 7 times a year and I can tell you these things are an awesome ski for me. Easy to maneuver for the trees, stable yet playful on the grooms with the family and can still carve it up. Rips down the blacks and gives confidence. I highly recommend."

"Softer ski but stable at moderate speeds. Easy to bring on edge with a nice flex. Great park or all around day skier. Rips up soft snow and is fun in the moguls. I teach in these skis and they are ideal!"
