KICKING HORSE

Kicking Horse is Canada’s freeride capital; Faction athletes Andrew Pollard, Townsend Reed, Blake Wilson, Sophia Rouches and Duncan Adams hot-footed it to lap up its legendary terrain in the middle of a heavy BC storm system.

A Faction Film Collective edit co-produced with Blue Max Media.

    The Team

    Duncan Adams

    Duncan Adams

Every rider’s favourite rider, Duncan has a pure, raw talent and always shows his effortless style across all terrain. In this film, he brings his signature fluidity to Kicking Horse on the Dancer 99 and the Dancer 106 TI.

    Sophia Rouches

    Sophia Rouches

Sophia Rouches hails from Fall City, Washington, a small town nested in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. A lover of steep chutes and fluffy pillow lines, she tackles this edit riding the Dancer 89 and the Dancer 106 TI.

    Andrew Pollard

    Andrew Pollard

Andrew Pollard, a staple of the North American freeride scene, is known for his smooth, effortless skiing and deep mountain intuition. Watch him apply that seasoned perspective to Kicking Horse's legendary terrain on the Dancer 89 and the Dancer 106 TI.

    Townsend Reed

    Townsend Reed

When American freerider Townsend Reed isn't crunching numbers as a finance and business student at the University of Utah, he’s out going massive in the backcountry, effortlessly blending a deep bag of freestyle tricks into high-octane big mountain lines. In this edit, you can catch him charging on the Dancer 106 TI and the Dancer 89.

    Blake Wilson

    Blake Wilson

Whether he’s throwing doubles off backcountry booters or navigating big mountain spines, Utah-based Blake Wilson is constantly pushing the limits of freeride. Watch him ripping through Canada's freeride captial on the Dancer 106 TI.

    Etienne Merel

    Etienne Mérel
