Introducing the new Prodigy 1 Matej. Step into the world of this fascinating, mind-melting freeskiing aficionado.
Interweaving patterns and personal touches from Matej's own drawing board make for a ski that celebrates his character, his history and his infectious energy. Featuring elements of Burg Kaprun in the Austrian Alps — where he calls home — it carries magical memories of his that took place in this 12th-century castle.
“I live in a small village Kaprun in the mountains, and the castle “Burg Kaprun” is a dominance of the region. It is a place where different events take place, it is a center of meeting people, culture, traditional celebrations, movies and performances. After having an epic party there, I decided to share the positive energy of that magic place on the skis.”
Marking the debut of these skis on the world stage, Matej swept the podium with the Faction crew last weekend at the first World Cup Big Air event of the season in Chur, Switzerland, winning gold alongside his teammates.
