    FEATURE LENGTH FILM 38 min

Skiing is not art, and skiers are not artists. Unless, of course, skiing is art and skiers are artists? Faction's fourth feature film exhibits pure creativity through a series of freeski sequences from the vibrant streets of Japan, to the powdery pillows of British Columbia, to the finely-manicured terrain parks of Switzerland and Italy. Each location provides a blank canvas for the team’s artistic expression. Because nothing screams “artist” like sending large cliffs and grinding the side of buildings.

    JAPAN

When Japan re-opened its borders to foreign visitors last year following Covid lock-downs, skiers went in droves to ski the legendary JaPow. But only one ski crew went with a mission to ski in the streets and "remove" snow! Don't miss Alex Hall, Mac Forehand, Antti Ollila and local rider Koga Hoshino showing a very different side of Japan, in this urban skiing segment for the ages.

    UTAH

Tim McChesney, Blake Wilson, Mac Forehand and Duncan Adams put on a veritable pow-booter-hittin', tree-tappin', cliff launchin' clinic in the Utah backcountry. Do not miss Mac Forehand's absolutely gargantuan rodeo 720. It's just one of the stunts among three segment appearances for him in the film that earned him a nomination for Standout Male Skier of the Year at the iF3 Awards.

    BRITISH COLUMBIA

A segment filled with the British Columbia powder pillows of your dreams, starring Micah Evangelista, Brooklyn Bell, Sophia Rouches and Vasu Sojitra. If the decibels from our global film tour are any indicator, Vasu Sojitra's beautiful skiing - on one leg, no less - is not to be missed.

    ITALY

10+ of the best freestyle skiers in the world invade Ursus Snowpark at Madonna di Campiglio, Italy, and display a level of skiing mastery that is second to none. Complete with veteran riders and fresh faces, it's the segment that will have Faction's more youthful audience hitting repeat, well, on repeat.

    crans montana

Bad weather won’t stop Sarah Hoefflin, Giulia Tanno, Mathilde Gremaud and Margaux Hackett making Crans Montana their playground.
Who needs sunshine when you’ve got rail game for days and a crew that’s down for fun and Aperol aprés.
