2 - Lightweight Poplar & Fiberglass Core

Poplar is a light-colored, medium-weight, durable softwood that flexes and pops nicely as well as having a whole load of vibration absorption capabilities. It allows the ski to pop, butter and stomp like an all-mountain freestyle ski and also have enough torsional stability to grip impressively on the downhill. Ultra-light paulownia wood is also integrated into this ski to save weight. They're set between two layers of fiberglass for strength, rigidity and durability.

3 - Sintered Base

1 - Elliptical Sidecut

Elliptical Sidecut is made up of a longer radius underfoot and shorter radius in the tip and tail of the ski. The long radius underfoot means you can pivot faster and easier, while a shorter radius in the tip and tail result in easier turn initiation. This sidecut allows for a wide variety of turn lengths, angles and mounting positions

2 - Mustache Flex

The "Mustache Flex" offers stability underfoot for solid edge hold, with a smooth, progressive flex in the tips and tails to easily absorb all the different bumps and snow debris the mountain throws at you.

3 - Traditional Mogul Profile

Upped my game on moguls dramatically!

"This are my first proper mogul skis. Coming from skiing moguls my entire life with all mountains of all kinds, currently using a pair of Bonafide and Rustler, these skis feel amazing on moguls. Usually I won't go over 145-150 SKI:IQ on moguls when using the Rustlers. Today was my first run on the 163 Le Mogul (I'm 169) and they made it feel so easy! I clocked consistently over 155, with one perfect run clocking 160 on 200mts of ice trough and hard overall at Buck Hill. The moguls in this run are well built, evenly spaced, and perfect size for speed, but with the ice base these skis helped forgive the mistakes I was surely doing and kept me on my feet all the time. I can't wait to try them out with a bit softer surface on the trough, see if I can keep the skis more parallel and angling at the same time."

Good ski, a bit too stiff and damp for me.

"Comparing this ski to an ID one MRG 168cm. This is a great ski, with nicer construction quality than the ID one, but it is a very different take on what a mogul ski should be. ID ones are very snappy, with soft shovels, lots of torsional flex, and stiff tails. They bounce. The faction mogul ski is much more damp. It is quite stiff compared to the ID one, and substantially less springy. Even when you load the ski, it doesn’t bounce back very forcefully. The faction has a very nice, even, progressive flex to it, so when you drive your tips into the moguls, it absorbs the shock in a very predictable way. Edge to edge, the ski is quick, but not as quick as the ID one. Both skis grip ice very well. I didn’t have the chance to test the ski in crud, but the Faction mogul ski has a more gradual rocker profile which might give better flotation in mix and crud. Overall, it’s a good ski, very damp, not as playful as I’d hoped. I think it will last longer than ID one mogul skis, and may be better on variable terrain. In bumps and ice, I very much prefer the ID one mogul ski."

Solid Mogul Skis

"They are truly best in the moguls but decent on groomers. A struggle in soft conditions (of course they aren't designed for that). My personal preference would be to have a tad more flex and/or slightly more shape to better bite when you're not just going knees to chin. Overall, if you're looking for a ski that you can carve up moguls with and you're not concerned with skiing soft conditions too, this is your ski. And unlike many all mountain or similar, they come in the right lengths for moguls too."
