We take an intimate look at Sam’s family life, his yet-unlived dreams, his career through the season and his companions; brother Simon, world-renowned freestyle skier Markus Eder and professional freeskier Jérémie Heitz. Usually out of frame whilst helping the likes of Eder and Heitz shine, this film puts Sam front and center.
Along the way we witness the full spectrum of skiing and winter alpinism and share deep insights into trust, partnership and the different roles in the mountains.
