In our opinion, the strongest piece to be created by our superstar athlete Alex Hall and his crew. The 3rd installation in this high-octane edit series, it perfectly showcases Alex Hall's unmatched style and precision, complemented by the raw talent of fellow freeskier Hunter Hess.

CHILE: SPIRIT OF THE VOLCANO

The mission? Discover and ski some of the most impressive volcanoes on a road-trip south, connecting with the local community to understand the significance of the volcano in Chilean culture. Some seriously beautiful shots in this one.

In the depths of the Pacific Northwest, Faction athlete Micah Evangelista reflects on his life growing up in the shadow of Mt. Baker. Amongst many ski films including an analog aesthetic in their style briefs, we think this edit is one of the best at pulling off an authentic sequence of whimsical memories, in 16mm wonder. A love letter to the deep tree-lined pitches of the PNW.
